The Bon Vivant Stockbridge

Today I was back with Annie. Double trouble. We went to grab some lunch while catching up on all the girlie chat before Annie heads back up to St. Andrews and I leave for Italy. We decided to go to Annie's favourite place right now - The Bon Vivant Stockbridge. There is two Bon Vivant in Edinburgh, one on Thistle Street in the City Centre and this one in Stockbridge.

I have been to the Thistle Street restaurant so was excited to see this one. It was much brighter than the other. But still had all the details I loved about the other, candles in bottles and empty bottles laying about. A really rustic, french feel. Oh and the toilet is lit with candle light!

Look at that happy face. The excitement was too much.

Bon Vivant is a great idea for a catch up lunch as they do 'Bites' little dishes that you can have for one or to share. They are great value at £1 - £6.50.

We tucked into a feta salad, haloumi with pesto, Serrano ham, bread, cheese, olives and olive oil with balsamic. Oh and chips!

We even tucked into some great desserts which rounded off lunch well. We left and had a wonder up the street where we came across a new boutique that had just opened. But that's for another post, another day.
